Davin's 4th Birthday-Stowell side

Can you believe that our little Davin turned 4 this year? Holy Cow-time flies!
What an awesome cake! It says "Happy Birthday Davin and Umpa"
Davin sporting his new Volcom hat that Uncle Matt spoiled him withI love that Davin and his grandfather share a birthday. It will be so neat as the years pass to always share that together and that Davin will always have that special connection with his grandfather.
Uncle Mikey had us get the Mickey Luke Skywalker and Minnie Leia Skywalker while we were at Disneyland the end of May. He loves these little figurines. Its like his 2 favorite things combined: Disney and Star Wars.
Davin loves to go over to Bryan's parents and read the Polar Express and listen to the CD with his Aunt Adrienne (somehow nicknamed Honey). She is in Alaska but she made sure Davin got his very own copy on his birthday.
Brielle just likes to be with everyone. Love this age-she wasn't jealous at all...
Umpa opening his STAR WARS pajamas that Davin picked out. We also got him a remote control car. Its like shopping for a kid-so fun.
Davin loves Guess Who? the game. Well, we added STAR WARS Guess Who? to his game collection. He asks questions like "Are you a bad guy?", "Do you have a blue lightsaber?" "Are you human?" (opposed to like a creature aka Yoda, Chewbacca) Its pretty entertaining.
I've been wanting to get a kitchen for Davin. He loves playing with his cousins. I finally got a really good deal on a wood one at Target (thank you Heather) and stored it. I found deals on the Melissa and Doug wood food and would buy it as the months passed. I know it kind of seems girly but let me tell you-it is every kid that comes over favorite thing to play. Brielle LOVES it too. They play together really well and pretend like they are cooking. Heather gave me her old white kid table with chairs cuz she got a bigger one. It is in awesome condition. The kids love it and I am so glad I watched for deals and took my time and got the good wood kitchen and food. There is a huge difference in quality compared to the cheesy plastic stuff. Umpa and Uma got Davin the IMAGINEXT Dragon Castle. He loves it. It does a lot of really neat things and his friends love playing with it. The accessories (dragons, chariot, boat) that went with it went on clearance at Target and I was able to get those (thanks again Heather). We have been using them as prizes when he fills his reward chart. I really like the IMAGINEXT line-pretty much indestructible-they come with a cool animated DVD of the playsets and characters-and Brielle can't choke on it. BONUS!
Here Bryan and Davin are reading cards on Great-Grandpa's walker. (We should have gotten Davin one of those-he loves it) He was soooo excited to get money so he could be "games" aka video games. Thanks Stowell Family!
