Bryan's Birthday is April 10th, which kinda stinks cuz of busy season. This year, his birthday landed on a Saturday-so he actually had it off! (His boss didn't make him go in that Saturday-thanks Carter!) Bryan finished his CPA tests and upper level accounting classes earlier but had just officially got his CPA certificate. I decided he needed a party to celebrate his birthday that we could actually celebrate but more than anything celebrate his graduating years before and getting his CPA!
I threw him a huge party. I rented a bounce house, inflatable slide, snow cone machine and cotton candy machine. I had hot dogs and ships and tons of soda and water. I basically had a mini carnival. My sister and Heather and her husband, Steve, were so gracious to let us use their awesome and huge backyard. I don't know where else we could have done this and had it fit! We had TONS of people come and support us. It was so much fun and the kids loved it. I know it may sound weird that I threw this kind of a party for Bryan, but if you know him, you'll know that this is up his alley. He jumped and played almost as much as the kids did. Davin loved it. It was a great day.
I love surprising people. It was really hard to keep something this big from Bryan and I mostly pulled it off. He thought Heather was throwing him a little party (cuz she's awesome like that) and that's why we had to go over there in the middle of the day on his birthday. I don't think he expected what was really going on at all! I told Bryan he better remember this cuz he's not getting a party like this for a long time! The best part-I completely paid for it by myself so he didn't drop a dime on his own birthday party.
