California

We were able to go to Los Angeles, CA with LIGHT this year for competition. Davin and I were able to at least. It was hard to leave Bryan but he's working so many hours with tax season that we got home not too long after her did Saturday night!
We went to Knott's Berry Farm and they had a huge Snoopy Bounce House. Davin jumped and jumped and jumped. He loves bounce houses.

They didn't have really good rides for kids and since I was pregnant I could only go on the really tame ones. My mom and I thought we would try this car one with him that he kept pointing at. Well, he was fine till it went and whipped him around an edge. They had to stop the ride so he could get off. How embarrassing. Its so weird-he will try anything but not rides.

Davin's favorite event to watch in the Olympics was the bobsled. He found one at Knott's and would not get out until he had a picture. He sat and posed and waited.

After a long day with no nap, Davin hit the wall on the bus ride to Old Country Buffet. He sat perched like this until I had to get him in the Tahoe. I loved riding on the bus with the group. No seat belts! So much nicer to travel with a 2 year old that way. Oh and after a day at an amusement park, the Old Country Buffet was WONDERFUL!

Here we are the next day outside of the competition center. It was overcast that day and kinda chilly. Davin ran and ran outside in front of the fountains.

He played with some of the guys in the group. They were lifting and flipping him. He loved it. No rides at Knotts Berry but he'll be thrown and hung upside down any day. Silly Boy. Of course I didn't get a good pic of the action.

Here is a self portrait Davin took.

And a pic of Mommy and Davin that Davin also took. He may have had some help.
It was lots of fun but I don't think I will attempt to take a 2 year old on that quick of a trip again. LIGHT did well in the competition and placed 4th and got some other awards. WOOHOO. Good luck in Branson. I will not be going this year. So sad!
