Home Depot, Mystery Murder Dinner Theatre & My First Ticket

My little brother, Matt, moved in with us so he could attend Higley High School. We have Davin's nursery and his big boy room across the hall from our room. We still wanted both set up this way and to have Matt further away from us so we went ahead and enclosed our loft. We'd been playing with the idea ever since we moved in. Our awesome friend, Darren, can do anything and he did it for us. Well, it still needs to be painted but that's another story. I'll post pictures later, nevertheless, we made many trips to Home Depot and thank goodness for their awesome carts for kids. Davin and Haylie loved it!

Our friend, Amy, celebrated her 26th birthday. We went out for a girls night to a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre in Phoenix. Don't go-its a waste. The food is okay but they don't give you much and the entertainment was rather crude and silly. It was fun being with Amy and Carla and everyone else though. Happy Birthday Amy! and thank you to our husbands that watched out kids.

On the way home from the dinner theatre, I got my first ticket. I saw the officer following me and I was wondering what was going on. Well, needless to say, Bryan and I kinda forgot to register the Acura (which I was driving). We had done the plate transfer from the Civic and thought we were fine-at least I did. Well, I was spotlighted by three cars, pulled over and asked to get out of the car while the officer was holding hand cuffs. The officer believed I didn't steal my own car when he saw the license plate said my last name (even though it was still registered to the Civic) and I had insurance on the car. He let me go with a ticket. I registered the car that Monday and am hoping the judge will have mercy and throw out the ticket. I asked him why out of all the cars on the highway, he decided to run my plates. The officer said, "Cuz your car attracts attention and I want one for myself". So, FYI-if you buy an Acura RSX, register it.
