So, I decided that I needed to help bring in some money since we have no idea how we are going to afford another child. Since Davin was 10 lbs. 7 oz and almost 24 inches long, my doctor and I have decided that next time, we are going to watch closer and for sure, not go into labor before my scheduled c-section time. We were lucky that the hospital had time in the OR to do the c-section early when I went into labor. Davin's head was smooshed enough from the 4 hours he was down in my birth canal. Nevertheless, c-sections cost a lot of money and so does good insurance. So, I have decided to do something out of the home and through prayer and watching girls in my ward, I realized I would like to babysit. Well, lo and behold, this really cute girl from my ward that babysits herself remembered I had said something to her once about having an interest in babysitting and called me with the perfect job opportunity. Sheri, my kids' I am watching mom, has to go back to work for 1 year to pay off her medical bills from having her new addition. Isn't that ironic? She's going to work to pay her baby bills and i am watching her kids to save up so we feel prepared in having our next kid. The Lord really blesses those who are trying to do the right thing.
Well, needless to say, I am watching Preston and Paige and they are adorable. Preston is almost 3 but a leightweight which makes him the same size as Davin but I can talk and reason with him and he has a lot of patience for Davin. Paige is 3 months old and so stinkin' cute. She is the easiest baby ever. She loves to swing and the bouncer and basically does everything herself besides eat and change her diaper.
This is only my first day but I am still feeling good. This will be good for me in helping my patience and Preston and Paige are so good. The hardest part is my little Davin. He means well when he gives his "loves" to Preston but really, he's just smothering the poor kid. He wants to be just like Preston which is cute but Preston's sippy cup and everything else cannot be Davin's. He also loves Paige and is totally fascinated by her but when he was tired and wanted to be held, he did not like it that I couldn't pick him up. Our outing to Barne's and Noble's story time was adventurous. Preston is so good and stays close but Davin is an escape artist. I think I am going to have to get a leash for him and thank you to who ever made Baby Snugli's or B'jorns. Oh and a baby that actually fits in the Baby Snugli at age 3 unlike Davin. I hope Davin knows I love him even though he has to share and I hope he adjusts fast.

That is exciting, Liz! I'm sure that you'll do a great job, too. How fun to get your baby fix with Paige. Are you announcing something? ;) Davin will get better. Just give it some time.
