Davin's sickness
I hate when kids don't feel good. Davin woke up puking in the middle of the night Sunday night/ Monday morning. Yuck. I feel so bad fro the little stinker. Even though he is throwing up and totally sick though, he still is laughing and playing. I am grateful he's not crying but I wish he would calm down and rest. We went to Urgent Care on Monday and sure enough-they prescribed the one medicine to cure them all-Zithromax. I am so sick of doctors (no offense to Drs). I can't wait for my brother-in-law, Jeff, to graduate from med school. At least then, we will know that we have a doctor that cares about Davin.
Happy Valentine's Day!
So, Saturday was so much fun. I woke up to roses and a Itunes gift card and most importantly: a happy child. We went to breakfast and hung out. It wasn't anything fancy but still very much needed and enjoyed.
Friday night we had the ward Valentine's party which was a lot of fun. Natalie babysat while we went. We came in second on the Newlywed game and really enjoyed our friends from the ward. I hope we continue to build relationships in the ward. I really like everyone.

A fun morning
So, last night was Mandy McDonald McCoy's Baby shower and oh how fun it was. Such a reunion! It is so much fun to see faces I haven't seen for a while and catch up. Well, Kami Riding (but not Riding anymore) and I caught up while chasing around kids and decided to get together today. It was so much fun to have Kami and her adorable daughter Annie over. We were simple and just went to the park and then back to my house and fed our kids hot dogs but it was so good to be with her. That 2 hours was much needed. I am so grateful for good friends and I hope that Kami and I can spend many more mornings together and hopefully our kids will someday learn the concept of sharing and not running off while at the park.

Date Night
So, tonight is Ward Temple Night. We have been planning on going for the last two weeks and low and behold, last night we pulled out everything to get ready and we can't find our recommends. We really need to go too. So, even if I can't find them in the next 5 hours, we are going on a date. We need us time and Bryan needs to relax before his big test tomorrow morning. Wish Bryan luck! He has his 4th of 4 CPA tests. He's passed the other 3 the first time around which is unheard of. Heavenly Father sure has blessed us. Please let Bryan pass the audit section tomorrow so we can be done with this!

Private Blogs
So, this blogging thing is pretty fun. I think I'm figuring things out thanks to Katrina Riggs who filled me in a little. Okay, so we decided that it is impossible to contact a private blog and asked to be invited. There are so many private blogs I would love to view though. Any ideas?

Dog Training
So, our newest addition, Vixen, is gorgeous. A pure bred smooth coat collie, she is perfect and exactly what we needed. Merry Christmas to me. She loves Davin, loves to frolic around and pounce on things (hence the name combined with the holiday), loves the dog park and does not so much love obedience school. She loves our trainer. though. If you ever need a dog trainer, get Bonnie at the Power and Ray Petsmart. She is awesome. Last night was week 5 of 8 of obedience school. Vixen has learned to sit, stay, lay down, shake, high five, heel, walk loosely on a leash, and come to me when called. There is a lot that goes into training but it is so worth it.
We want to breed Vixen but we can only find a rough coat male and really would like to keep her with a short haired. We also want to know how much of an interest there is in collies. They are hard to come by. I would love to do it if people want collies but I am scared of ending up with a bunch of puppies. Hmmm...

Day 2
So McDonald's: crappy food but gotta love the play place. Why can't Wendy's figure that out? Preston and Paige arrived this morning and Davin was up and ready. He slept in yesterday morning and that was not the case today. Cute but the tiredness showed lated. We played this morning and Davin seemed to learn a couple of things. Then we packed into the car and took off to get some music books for my new piano student this afternoon. We trecked over to East Valley Music Center cuz my Gilbert Music wasn't open and sorry, Milano's you are just too far away now. Well, we pile out of the car and attach the backpack monkey leash things Davin and I bought last night and Davin went beserk. Too bad kid. Preston and Paige and I went into the store dragging Davin and the people just stared at us. I guess its not every day you see a 22 year old with 3 kids under the age of 3. I asked for the books. They had no idea what I was talking about so I had to go find the books myself. Then they wouldn't give me my teacher discount cuz the manager wasnt there. Dumb. Sorry Leschorns. I guess its only 10 or 15% but every dollar counts.
Well, we went to McDonald's on our way home. The McDonald's by my old work had $1.99 happy meals posted in their windows so I figured it was a special every McD's was doing. Not so and Happy Meals are ridiculously expensive. So I didn't get anything which reminds me I haven't even eaten today. I'll go do that now while they still sleep. Overall, day 2 has been pretty good. Let's hope they sleep as long today as they did yesterday.
Oh and I almost forgot! Preston and Davin played soooo well in the McD's play place. And when we got home they played well. I hope they (meaning mostly Davin) get used to eachother and can just be good friends. It was so much fun to watch them run around and be boys and go down slides. yeah for soft toys that won't hurt kids! I think I will go to that McD's every day! HAha!

Has Anyone Seen My Ring?
Okay, we went to Helzberg Diamonds a week before Christmas to get my little sister, Lauren, some pearl earrings for Christmas. Well, I asked them to clean my ring and thankfully, the woman working there looked at my ring under the microscope first to check for loose diamonds. Surprise surprise-NOT. I had 7 loose diamonds in my gypsy channel setting. RRRRRRrrrrr, it gets so old. So, I put my gorgeous wedding ring in a little plastic bag, took it home and put it in my drawer in my kitchen with all my bills and junk. I was so busy during the holidays with my party and brunch and then New Year's Eve party that I didn't even think about my ring till about mid way through January. I went to the drawer and my ring wasn't there. I called Bryan and he said he hadn't seen it. I looked in my jewelry case and other hiding places. Then, I started freaking and tore my whole house upside down (which I had just got put back together from all the holiday commotion) looking for this ring. I cried and cried. No ring anywhere. I called my home owners and they said they could only give me a grand for my 5 thousand dollar ring. Note-you have to take out a special little side insurance on your home owner's policy specifically for your wedding ring. Wish I would have known.
So, I have no ring. Well, shortly after we went and visited our good friend Taylor Searle who had just had shoulder surgery and I talked with his parents, Ron and Peggy (they own the Diamond Consortium where we get all our jewelry). I actually had to get a new setting anyways cuz my 18K white gold was still irritating my skin. I had to upgrade to platinum which is like triple the price of 18K gold which is like 1 1/2 the price of 14K. They actually had a platinum ring in that they would give me a nice price at. They are such good people. Well, we went to the store the next day and the ring is mine! It is gorgeous. Way different from my last ring but gorgeous. I will have to take a pic and post it.
I am sad though. I loved my wedding ring and I hope that someday it will magically appear but I don't think that is going to happen. At least I took good pictures of it while I had it.

My new job
So, I decided that I needed to help bring in some money since we have no idea how we are going to afford another child. Since Davin was 10 lbs. 7 oz and almost 24 inches long, my doctor and I have decided that next time, we are going to watch closer and for sure, not go into labor before my scheduled c-section time. We were lucky that the hospital had time in the OR to do the c-section early when I went into labor. Davin's head was smooshed enough from the 4 hours he was down in my birth canal. Nevertheless, c-sections cost a lot of money and so does good insurance. So, I have decided to do something out of the home and through prayer and watching girls in my ward, I realized I would like to babysit. Well, lo and behold, this really cute girl from my ward that babysits herself remembered I had said something to her once about having an interest in babysitting and called me with the perfect job opportunity. Sheri, my kids' I am watching mom, has to go back to work for 1 year to pay off her medical bills from having her new addition. Isn't that ironic? She's going to work to pay her baby bills and i am watching her kids to save up so we feel prepared in having our next kid. The Lord really blesses those who are trying to do the right thing.
Well, needless to say, I am watching Preston and Paige and they are adorable. Preston is almost 3 but a leightweight which makes him the same size as Davin but I can talk and reason with him and he has a lot of patience for Davin. Paige is 3 months old and so stinkin' cute. She is the easiest baby ever. She loves to swing and the bouncer and basically does everything herself besides eat and change her diaper.
This is only my first day but I am still feeling good. This will be good for me in helping my patience and Preston and Paige are so good. The hardest part is my little Davin. He means well when he gives his "loves" to Preston but really, he's just smothering the poor kid. He wants to be just like Preston which is cute but Preston's sippy cup and everything else cannot be Davin's. He also loves Paige and is totally fascinated by her but when he was tired and wanted to be held, he did not like it that I couldn't pick him up. Our outing to Barne's and Noble's story time was adventurous. Preston is so good and stays close but Davin is an escape artist. I think I am going to have to get a leash for him and thank you to who ever made Baby Snugli's or B'jorns. Oh and a baby that actually fits in the Baby Snugli at age 3 unlike Davin. I hope Davin knows I love him even though he has to share and I hope he adjusts fast.
